As the Principal of NAAC A+ accredited SBES College of Arts and Commerce, I am pleased to extend a heartfelt welcome to this esteemed institution. Established in 1963 under the auspices of the Saraswati Bhuvan Education Society, the college upholds a distinguished tradition of delivering exceptional education in the fields of Arts and Commerce.

The vision, encapsulated as “To inculcate rational universal values in its pursuit to achieve excellence for a just society”, marks firm commitment to foster an environment where students can cultivate critical thinking, creativity, and societal responsibility. Aligned with this vision, the mission is to provide quality education by promoting inquiry, research, scholarship, creativity and social sensitivity for civil society.

The college offers various Academic programs viz. undergraduate degrees in BA, BCOM, BCA, and BBA catering to diverse aspirations. In addition, the college also offers postgraduate program i.e. M.Com along with a Research Centre in Commerce. Beyond Academics, the institute prioritizes skill development and experiential learning. The college runs 32 value- added certificate courses to equip students with industry- relevant skills in fields such as Accounting, IT, Tally and Children’s drama.
