Dear Students,
“Progress in Science Education is a Pre-requisite for Global Economic Development and Peace”.
Warm Welcome in an educational and cultural hub S.B.E.S. College of Science, which has got a rich history of more than 60 years and is a wing of Shri S. B. Education Society which was founded in 1915 and has witnessed the Centenary Celebration.
Slogan of the College is “Sanctity, Sacrifice and Scientific Temper” and functioning under the guidance of Management of the Institution by adopting E-teaching and learning facilities as per the change in the global scenario.
Our vision is to make every student self-reliable, self-sufficient and responsible element of the society by imparting him/her holistic education with the scientific temper for junior, undergraduate, postgraduate and research students. The reflection of these efforts are seen when alumni of this institution exhibit their sharpened and intellectual potential, zeal and zest for the benefit of the society.
Today the institute offers various courses at XI, XII, UG & PG level along with add on Certificate Courses. These courses are designed to impart value education and provide employability. To support the Ph.D. students, a well-equipped central research laboratory is being established. This facility will also be beneficial for everyone who wants to pursue research. The college runs 3 years degree B. Voc. (Bachelor in Vocational) courses in IT Skills and Software Development, Architectural Planning and Interior Designing.
To ensure the academic, co-curricular and extra curricular development of the students, the college is well equipped with laboratories, class rooms, library, canteen and sports facilities.
For overall personality development of the students NCC, NSS, Sports facility and Cultural activities are being conducted every year. Consultancy and extension services are provided through NAMP project which is under NABL accrediation process. Water Harvesting Project, Solar Energy Unit for the generation of electricity is installed in the campus.
College provides enhanced global visibility, a wide range of contacts and professional networking opportunities (tie ups, MOU’s), academic scholarships, cost beneficial services, information and necessary guidance to the students.
The college has a very active Placement Cell, through which till the date 219 campus interviews have been organized for the students, in which more than 4600 students are placed in national and multinational companies.
College has dedicated and competent teaching faculty which is committed for all round development of students. Our aim is to produce responsible citizens of India.
